Scholarships Offered in Clinical Laboratory Science

CLS professional students have multiple opportunities for scholarships.
School of Medicine and Public Health-Health Professions Programs (SMPH-HPP):
The School of Medicine and Public Health has scholarship awards for undergraduate students within the SMPH-HPP. Graduating seniors, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher may apply for a scholarship during the fall semester. Qualifying CLS students are notified of the application deadline and encouraged to apply. The SMPH-HPP scholarship committee meets with the Assistant Dean to determine awards. The SMPH-HPP Dean’s Office distributes the money.

Successful applicants demonstrate an above average academic GPA (> 3.0/4.0), professionalism, community involvement, and dedication to a health career profession.
UW-Madison CLS Program Scholarships:

Exemplary first year professional students, with senior classification, that receive an award may apply again the second year.

Successful applicants demonstrate scholastic aptitude, professionalism, interest in a CLS professional career, and technical ability in the CLS professional program.
